Hmmm... it's clear you're a prime fan and most of your collection is clustered in the normal-long range. Maybe a zoom or two would help. Think you'd have use for a DA 12-24? Or how about a Sigma 70-200 f/2.8?
Ha, yes I am a HUGE prime fan. I really do dislike zooms, but than again I've never used Pentax DA* zooms so who knows? Maybe I'll convert (NOT!)

I've been contemplating both types of lenses, but my conclusion has been that I really do dislike wide angle shooting. When I owned the kit lens, it was glued at 35mm or greater as that was plenty wide for me. If I ever wanted wider I'd just stitch a panorama. So for me, the DA 12-24 is WAY to expensive for the amount of time I'd use it (once, maybe twice a year?). As for the sigma, i've yet to be interested in this specific lens. Im not sure, but I just haven't seen any images that jump out and say "Buy this lens!" ya know? I've been really thinking about the whole DA* 50-135mm or tamron 70-200mm but am still without a conclusion. Basically the plan is to wait on a new SDM type motor for the DA* and go from there.

I know this sounds rather odd, but what do you guys think of me getting the Sigma 30mm F/1.4? This lens has been REALLY intriguing to me lately. I'd keep the M 28mm for macro's, and Im planning on getting the F 28mm soon (trading the FA 50mm for it), but still the 30mm from sigma is interesting

You know... the Sigma 30mm f/1.4 keeps popping up in my mind as well... along with the Sigma 28mm f/1.8 macro. I've hemmed and hawwed about them both for a while.

I already have the 645FA*300 + 645FA75mm.
Then I have failed.

In promoting LBA, I mean...

It's my favourite setup for objects in size 1-5 mm. Incidentally, the most common size of snowflakes around here.
