Rattling sound in DA 18-55 WR lens?

I just received in the mail from a very nice board member two lenses: the DA WR 18-55 and 50-200. As I play around with them I notice that the 18-55 make a bit of a rattling noise, while the 50-200 definitely does not do so. The rattling is towards the front of the lens if I shake it lightly. Is this normal for this lens or did UPS treat it too harshly and damage it? I have no camera yet to test it with, my K-7 won't arrive until the end of this week or beginning of next week.

I just tried my DA 18-55 WR lens and if I hold it by the zoom ring and shake it, I get a modest rattling sound from it. As I know mine works just fine, I think you are all right.
