No autoID for DA-15 Limited in LR3

All my lenses are auto ID'd in LR3 except the DA-15mm limited. Anyone else notice this? Is this a lack of recognition by LR3, or is the ID chip in my lens defective? Thanks -

The EXIF data doesn't have a text string for lenses, the lens identifies itself by a (typically unique) number and then it is up to photo processing software on a computer to use a table to match that number to the right text string (which has to be updated by the software maker when new lenses come out).

If I were you, I'd try using an EXIF utility to examine at the raw data for your photos taken with that lens to determine if the lens ID number is correct. Alternatively, use another piece of software to determine if it's just a deficiency in Lightroom's lens database.

My DA 15 doesn't show up in the Browser either. (Other lenses have full name.) It just says 15mm, the same way it does for older lenses. Since I only have one 15mm, I don't consider it a problem. I can identify it by that, and all other data is in tact.
In fact, it only says 15mm when I press the info button on my K20D as well, but it does read the focal length. I've never had to dial it in.
