this is only true if you don't change the subject - medium distance. Since you are using different FLs trying to achieve the same framing, your distance will change and so will your DOF

Try your DA70 for the photo you want, the max aperture of f/2.3 is something to take into account. Also, the A50/1.2 could be a different alternative to the shot.
