given my shooting style, and my prime preference it would have o be the following if money wasn't an object (though i would prefer a 7 lens kit)

Da 14/15 either though i have the 14
FA31
FA43
DA55
FA77
I used to think similarly.
In fact came close to putting it together.
Had 3 FA ltds + 24 on wide end and K50/1.2 in the middle.

It was too many changes for me and 43 only got used when I needed AF. 77 got used only if I forced myself to it...

I've got to admit Axl for a huge chunk of the time i even find a 50 long, a 31 would probably be ideal (it would be the most expensive of the 3), I like my 14 but it's not a daily shooter
a 20-24 would fall better into that category
Almost all my shooting if MF right now, but part of that is budget driven, I have nothing against AF particularly for Street where it is very handy and faster than my ancient eyes at obtaining focus

I like the Good Zooms (like the da* and others) but they are too damn big and heavy most of the time

I think I may have 3 or 4. BrownBag Of course one of them is m42 and another k-mount manual focus.

This is easy! I'm generally a wide-2-normal type of geek that sometimes need tele. I could do this for life. But I ain't got the 200mm yet.

21mm Limited
31mm Limited
43mm Limited
50-135mm SDM
200mm SDM

As you can see this is The perfect 5 lens system. Crispy sharp, fast and compact

That's getting close to my thought. I don't have the Leitax, though.
