Tokina 11-16/2.8 (in K mount!) *
Sigma 30/1.4
Hartblei 35mm f2.8 TS Super Rotator
Pentax 77/1.8 (85/1.4 would do as an alternative)
and the fastest 135mm I could find (135/1.8 or so, manual focus fine)

*or, if I must, I suppose a Sigma 8-16/4.5-5.6 would do.

DA* 16-50mm F2.8 - THE lens I can't live without! Surprised it was not there in the original list.

DA 12-24mm F4 - Ultra-wide zoom, excellent quality. I wish to go wider sometimes but I could not stand
the sacrifice in image quality by the Sigma 10-20 which was pretty much the only other option at the time.
Maybe the Sigma 8-16mm will do well? I'd like to see before replacing this one on the ultra-wide side.

FA 31mm F1.8 Limited - Possibly the best prime ever made. Razor-sharp and a reasonable angle.

100mm Macro WR - Currently have the 35mm F2.8 Macro Limited but you've got to get way too close.

DA* 60-250mm F4 - Its big and heavy but really useful for details... Got some awesome shots with it.

Sure, I'll play:
15mm
43mm
70mm
18-135mm WR
100mm WR macro

If I was pushing it into a backpack and travelling, I'd take;

15mm
21mm
40mm
50-200mm WR
Macro of some description

And use the rest of the money for a better plane ticket!

The other four? Nah, I have legs.
I don't think the Safari guides will let you get that close to the lions as you'll need; both for your own safety and because they get their tips @ the end of the trip so they need to keep you around for that.

Otherwise, 5 lenses? Dunno if I can do it. If so, close to what I have with the addition I plan...

Pentax 12-24/4 (tho I'm not in-love w/this lens; would like something better)
Tamron 28-75/2.8 (or one of the close variants)
a classic Pentax Fast-50 of your choosing.
Voigtlander 125/2.5 Macro (or one of the close variants)
Sigma or Tamron 70-200/2.8 (the Sigma is the addition I plan)

...and nope, can't do it. Because I need my Sigma 300/2.8 too. And that's 6. :ugh:

The 300, I could probably make fit...but the 600 would have to ride alone. lol Hey, I only have to tote it around for 3 years, so why not?
