Trying again (unrealistic budget):

DA 15
FA 31
DA*55
FA 77
DA 55-300 (is there something faster in this range)?

presently I am using:

DA15
FA31
K 50mm f/1.2
FA77
Sigma 100-300mm f/4

i'm quite satisfied with the results and all those lenses comfortably fits into a Lowepro Flipside 300 bag.

Not there yet but this is the goal:

Sigma 10-20
Sigma 24-75
FA 35 f/2
FA 50 f/1.7
Sigma 70-200 f/2.8

My kit:
Sigma 10-20
DA 21 Ltd.
Sigma 17-70
DA* 50-135
Sigma 135-400

For my purposes this is perfectly adequate. I also carry an A 50 1.7 in my bag but it only comes out to play on rare occasions.

I keep tweaking my kit, and I've now got it to the point where there exist no lenses I'd rather have in my bag than the five I currently have:

DA15
M28/2.8
DA40
DA70
M120/2.8

Sure, a newer 28 or 120 would be nice, but there is no newer 120, and I'm not convinced I'd like the FA28 any more than the M.

I can only see myself carrying five lenses if they're small...

For travel involving a plane or mainly city photography:

DA 15
DA 21
FA 43
DA 70
DA 50-200 WR (a "just in case" lens if I happen to need long or WR)

For landscape photography when traveling by car:

DA 12-24
DA 17-70
Sigma 50-150

For the occasional portrait session:

Sigma 24
Sigma 50-150

The following appeals to me now that there's a WR superzoom available:

DA 15mm
Normal (FA 31mm, FA 43mm, FA 35mm or DA 40MM)
D FA 100mm WR macro
DA*300mm
DA 18-135mm WR

It would be disturbing not to have a classic portrait length prime. Five lenses is one short IMO.

So you swapped A50/1.2 for DA*55?
Not scared of the SDM anymore?

Ok, here is mine:

FA*24
FA31ltd
DA*55
FA100

Those I have, if I could add one more, it would probably end up being DA14.
What I wish for is DA*26/2. That could replace 24+31 and free up some cash for good wide angle
