The catch is, you can only use those 5 lenses for 3 years (forever is too long).
Only for 3 years? Well that changes everything. This makes it a "lenses I would like to use for a while but could get along without" list.

K 2000/13.5
FA* 250-600/5.6
FA* 200/4 Macro
FA* 43/1.9

You're pretty close. I'd pick the five most expensive lenses available, then sell those (maybe) and buy what I really want. And what do I really want? I don't know yet. When I win the contest, then I'll do the research. I try not to waste too much time wishing for / obsessing over stuff I can't afford.

I can't see limiting myself to only 3 years of use of a lens. It that case I'd follow Rio Ricos example above and get the 5 most expensive lenses I could find and then sell them and get what I want.
If there were no time limitations, I'd prolly get something like this

DA 12-24
FA 31 ltd
FA 43 ltd
Tamron 90 macro
DA* 300

You can sell all five and get something else, that is, if you don't want to use your camera for 3 years!

You can only use the initial five lenses you choose, THAT'S IT!

DA 15 ltd
FA 31 ltd
DA 35 ltd
FA 77 ltd
Da*50-135

The only one of which I have plans to buy is the DA 35, mainly as the others are just too damn expensive

It pains me not to find a place for my much loved DA21 in this list, but if it was a top 4 instead of 5 I would have included it in place of the 15 & 31. It’s an under rated lens with a very versatile focal length. I also noticed the 50-135 gets a lot of love in this thread

Alright, so you just won an amazing contest and you get a free K5 plus you get to choose any, ANY 5 lenses for the body.

The catch is, you can only use those 5 lenses for 3 years (forever is too long). What do you choose?
Wow, that's not much of a catch! I'm pretty happy using my DA 40mm and 70mm Limited 99% of the time. I guess, if I were changing up, I'd go with:

DA 15mm Limited
FA 31mm Limited
DA 70mm Limited

And, then, I guess, the DA 35mm Limited Macro, and something weather-sealed. Maybe the DA★ 50-135mm, or maybe the DA★ 55mm.

But that feels pretty gratuitous, not a catch at all.
