Vivitar 35-200mm f/3.0-4.5

Hi.
I have a chance of buying this lens, probably for a good price.
But I can`t find anything on the lens reviews about this lens and haven`t heard much about it, so I`m asking here;

Is this lens recommended for someone that enjoys manual photography with new digital
cameras like myself?

Pros and cons?

Tommy.

I know nothing about this lens, but I would probably have echoed the feelings of the forum member (who actually owned one) who replied to a similar question earlier this year:

I wouldn't do it, particularly as you won't easily get anywhere near full SR over the zoom range.

Hi, thanks M42man
I think that the post you linked to just about said it all, I will not buy this lens after reading that post.

Thanks again
