AFAIC K28/3.5 is a good choice, but I have a bias (click link in my sig)
Why the hatred of K lenses?

I've recently been thinking about getting a manual 28mm. Quite a few variations to choose from. I'm happy for as much info I can find.
I can send you a half dozen. I end up using the F28/2.8 all the time, because it's really good and tiny.

I really only need one. Any of your half dozen up for sale?

They should be, just lazy about doing it. I know I have three that are decent lenses. One is a Sears, labeled as a macro, which just means it focuses to 0.2m. I have a Vivitar/Kiron f2 which is pretty sharp. There's a Tokina EL, f2.8, KA mount, almost as good as the Pentax A. I have a Sigma "Ultra High Speed Wide Angle", f1.8, KA mount, 58mm filter, 7 blades. It's big for a 28mm but it is very sharp. The main downfall of all these lenses is they don't have SMC.

Usually I find a couple more when I start looking.
