I've been pretty good (so far).

(Lenses in signature) all for 530... including the program plus.

But I don't think I actually qualify for LBA.

.

I'd say Ben shopped pretty well there for several of those. Sigma 100-300 f4 for $600? Nice.

(I'm not gonna post my list, though, forget it )

The total damage

K10D + 18-55 AL II
Dec 2008
DA 55-300
Jan 2010
FA31 and AF540
Jan 2010
K100D
May 2010
Yashica TL + some M42 stuff
Nov 2010
K5 + 18-55 WR (still waiting)
And spread over 2010 some M42 Taks (55/1.8, 135/3.5 and 300/4)

I actually have made a profit out of my LBA so far, or maybe I broke even efter purchasing the DA21. My rule is to only purchase a lens if I have a purpose for it in mind (WR, macro, low light, etc) or if I can play with it then sell it for higher than its asked price. And I never duplicate lenses, or things would go out of hand.

With that rule, the only lens I ever regret selling is the Vivitar 70-210 serie 1.

My LBA is limited to MF glass so far, as I cant afford LBA with new AF stuff, or else I would own all the ltds & a couple of DA*s.

With AF, Im pretty-much limited to one lens per year

Reminds me of the spreadsheet for my wine cellar. (Now when, exactly, will I drink these?)

I'd say the same thing about LBA.

Some impressive lists here, puts to shame my few: 18-55 II ($100); 17-70/4 (used, bought here $330); 55-300 ($360). Should I count the M50/1.4, Vivitar 28/2.8 and Vivitar 70-210 from the film ME days? Not sure what, exactly, happens next - Limited prime? The new 35? I'm actually thinking one of the new high ISO bodies will "convert" my lenses into something faster. Cheers! Glenn
