Post your LBA damages!

I've been keeping a spreadsheet of my photography expenditures just to maintain a reality check for my spending... doesn't seem to be working. Figured I'd post it here for some public shaming. Maybe others will do the same.

Wow, that's crazy. You can buy a small car with that much money. But then again, your lens collection would more than likely retain its value better

Nice disposable income, or good savings prior to LBA
I will need to do the same shortly, depending on the final figure I'm not sure if I will post it online however.. Thanks for sharing yours though!

It appears the OP is missing a column on his spreadsheet. "Value" does not equal "Price Paid".

Correct. On some of those I've listed the price paid, on some I've listed what I could resell it for. It's not really standardized.

Since joining Pentax Forums almost a year ago I have replaced my whole system. When I joined all I had was my workhorse istDl the 18-55mm and it's partner 50-200mm. Now a year later I have purchased (all from here) a K10D, D-BG2 grip, Sigma APO 135-400mm F4.5-5.6 DG, Pentax DA 16-45mm, Kenko 1.5x Teleconverter, and recently a Sigma EX DG 105mm f2.8 Macro. I keep telling myself have everything I need but still surf the marketplace everyday.

Here is most of my gear:

I have purchased a few things from Ebay and in stores like the white balance lens caps, multiple filters, hot shoe bubble lever, Yongnuo 560 flash, the shutter control remote, a Lowepro Flipside 300 backpack. Fancier tripod, Slik pistol grip tripod head and a Trekking Safari harness. The Pentax F2 50mm was found in my gf's old camera gear. I got the Pentax card reader from Pentax after complaining to them about over charging for shipping of a focus screen. I think that's it.

Where did you order the 18-135 for $350?

In less than two years I have owned 37 lenses (I have 5 currently). Some of these I bought in lots of two or three to get one I wanted to try. I try them all out though and have found some surprises. I paid under $1300 (US) for all. Obviously I don't have a collection like deadwolfbones' (imagine drooling emoticon here). I got some real good deals on a lot of M42s. I've only bought one new. Good deals can be found on Ebay, Craigs List, and Goodwill, but you have some risk when the seller doesn't know what they are selling, and sometimes even more when they do.

how do these things happen?

I was an all-Sony owner until May. Then:

Photo taken by the K-7 and another Rikenon 50mm.. and the Vivitar 28-85 arrived later.. and the Sigma 14mm is coming soon.

But let's be honest, one film body and lens were already in the garage. Oh yeah, this doesn't count the Kiron 28-105 (Canon mount) that came with the Sakar 28-200 at auction..

I bought a second 35mm/3.5 tak today because I liked the value. the thing is I haven't received the first one yet. Of course MF/tak LBA is less dangerous than the LBA shown above.
