Sigma looks sharper to me. Also, color difference is not as huge as you see between DA 12-24 vs Sigma 10-20mm.

I decided to give the 10-24mm a try myself, as it is a great deal with the rebate going on. The Tamron is also 1/3-2/3 stops faster depending on the focal length, so it is probably more appropriate to at least run comparisons at F5.6 (or to be fair to the sigma F8). Having the slightly larger aperture is convenient to have, but most of the time these lenses will be used stopped down for the best performance anyway.

He can't. e.g. Sigma is 5.6 at 20mm. Besides it shows what they are both capable of at min aperture at both the short & the long ends.

Sigma is a clear winner from those shots with regards to sharpness and I don't see a great difference in the rendering either (the difference in exposure could just be from the slight difference in apertures).

Huh? Stop the Tamron down to 5.6. Then it's the same. Who cares what performance at the minimum is if one out performs the other at the same aperture. What if the Tamron sharpens up at 5.6? Then that is the clear winner.

The Tamron shows some weird bokeh. Not sure if it would get better stopping down.

Well he hasn't posted Tamron shots at 5.6 so if you have them and they do indeed show what you are saying then put them up, I'd be very interested in seeing them. Thanks.
