[langtitle=ru]FOV of wideange zoom lenses and fish-eyes zoms[/langtitle]

Reading some lens reviews I came across some interesting information which forced me to think.
DA 12-24...Diagonal FOV (APS-C) 99-61 degrees...
F 17-28... Diagonal FOV (APS-C) 100-55 degrees...

What does it mean? The FOV of both lenses are the same? Can I see the same space in viewfinder with DA 12-24 as with F 17-28?

Yes but they will look very different. Do you want straight lines to remain straight?

The fov of the fisheye will be larger at 20mm than the 12-24 at 20mm.

I have no experience with the 17-28, but this is a 10-17 fisheye vs 12-24 rectilinear comparison that may be of interest.

The 12-24 really stretches those windows.
