Photoman8888, as I said the silent motor of the 60-250 lens is disabled and the TC's screwdrive will do all the focusing but since the small TC can't focus from near to the longest end of the range you must manually focus the 60-250 within near enough range. This is no problem with this lens since it has a clutched focus ring. Once you are within range of either side of the TC's autofocus is very quick because the TC has very little distance to move to lock on correct focus. I bought mine in Tokyo (Akihabara) for approx. US $260.00, but as I said they are (or were at the time Jan this year) hard to find. Mine Had to be specially ordered, took 4 days to get.
Greetings

1.4x Sigma works with DA*60-250

Can these two work together? DA*60-250 does have a screw driver slot. Thanks.

I've never tried the combination. But I'm very surprised if AF works.

the sigma TCs will NOT work, regardless of whether there is a screw drive or not. the issue is one of mechanical compatibility.

The SIGMA TCs are NOT a general purpose TC but a specific use TC which requires that there is an opening in the rear of the mating lens 35mm in diameter and 12mm deep to accept the protruding front element of the TC.

In fact, not even all sigma lenses accept their TC, only the some lenses, specifically the 70-200/2.8, the 300/2.8, and their really big glass, as well as some similar pentax products from the FA line up because one of the FA rear converters also protrudes into the lens barrel.
