DA 70 coverage?

Does the DA70 cover the 36*24 frame? Ie, have anyone tried it on a film camera?

Well, someone tested it on a film camera, and reported working fine. No vignetting even wide open. Don't know the edge sharpness though ...

On probability one must suspect edge sharpness doesn't meet Pentax standards otherwise Pentax may have marketed it as D-FA for higher $$.

Hmm, I think the person must be blind.
I just checked it once again. Quite clearly the vignetting can be seen.
Also, the DA70 falls off in the corners on APS-C already (compared to FF lenses).

Only the DA40 can be used on an FF camera and only some because of the lack of an aperture ring. (DA40 will vignet with hood)

you must know that you can use DA lenses with just the Z series because of the lack of aperture ring... on the other bodies the lens will be used at minumum aperture (f/22 probably..)

Hmm, I don't know. Didn't test mine (when I still have the lens). Probably due to the hood just like the DA40? Maybe you should test again w/o the hood ...
