If you are into primes, I'd suggest you to have a look into fast(ish) 24 or 20/21. I find these great for city streets, although sometimes you need to get quite close

I think my 24-70 is pretty fast so I think it might be kind of silly to get a fast 24 prime unless there's one out that would definitely outperform the sigma. I'm trying to look for a F35-70 but they seem to be a bit more expensive than $11 lol.

I really want to try the 21 or 15 or maybe even 14 but I'm not sure how big of a difference the 15mm when comparing the 3. My cousin has the 21 so I've played around with it a bit but I'm worried the 15mm will only see use when i'm outside roaming. I guess that's just what happens when you buy a more specialized lens. Thanks for all the feedback. the FA31 is also calling at me but i'll have to wait for that.

The 15 is magic, but like I said, I think what you have will be just fine for now.

Yep Fastish autofocus small and light. And much sharper than my 18-55.

A real bargain

Don't just look for the lens. Look for the Pentax SF-1 camera and see what lens is attached. 70% had the f35-70. Thats how I nailed mine.

I'd choose the DA21. I've got one and this is exactly the role it excels in.

I use that lens on a DSLR as well, but if they made a compact 24mm I would prefer that FL. The FOV of a 35mm lens on film is my favorite street view.

Quite right. My F35-70 came on a SF-1 -- which I then loaded with a cheap Zykkor 28-80 and sold for a slight profit. I'm starting to think that the F35-70 is my best AF lens for shooting snaps. Not that I'll be dumping my 35s-50s-58s anytime soon...
