I thought I asked this some time ago but I cannot find any thread - so here goes again.
Can a Mamiya/Sekor SX lens be used on the K200D camera via the original Pentax M42 adapter?
The SX mount is described as being a Pentax Universal M42 Screw Mount with a locking pin.
Is this locking pin the same as the dreaded Ricoh pin?

Mamiya SX lenses have an extra pin that allow open aperture metering with the Mamiya (and Sears) DSX and MSX cameras. They are "auto-only" lenses (no auto-manual switch) so you'll need to somehow (e.g. glue) the pin in to make the lens "manual-only".

The pin is inside the mount (not on the mount as the Ricoh pin) so it does not get stuck in anything.

But I found this thread that you may be interested in. It ain't pretty.

Yes, the protruding ring is the problem.
Either you shave them or you cannot get infinity focus.
It's a pity, they are nice lenses.

The protruding ring on my 135 SX won't even allow it to MOUNT on my Pentax adapter, and I've been too lazy to Dremel it down.
