SHE'S HERE! AND ASIDE FROM MISSING THE LITTLE COVER FOR THE A/M SWITCH, SHE'S BEAUTIFUL!
Focus is even smoother and tighter than most of my Taks! (Although it seems to be a long throw, if there is such a thing for focus). Glass is spotless without a speck of dust to be seen. She lines up fine (a little off center). Plus that cool chrome! (She's a bit bigger than a 50 Tak, in a good way.)
As an added bonus, I've been using a not so great Cokin type CP on all of my lenses, although I have two new 55mm Hoyas. Long story why I have two new ones, but I was always too lazy or too cheap to buy the step-up rings.
Well, since this lens takes 55, I'm in business--and the hood is courtesy of my Cokin, three stacked modules. This makes it real easy to rotate the filter too--just rotate the hood!
Can't wait to get out there with it today! The camera never looked prettier!
But there isn't a Mamiya Club here, so where the heck do I post photos!?
