Pentax website (

Yeah the Pentax website has known to be wrong on that though. And it is actually listed on that page under specifications, as well as on Amazon.
"Case: Lens Soft Case S80-120
Hood: PH-RBI 77MM
Tripod Adapter: N/A"

I think only DA Ltd. and DA * lenses come with case.
My FA, D-FA, & A lenses also all came with a case/pouch, I think it's quite weak for the price actually. But thanks for the info.

The B&H webite does not list any soft case. Yet you could email B&H to ask (politely) if there should have been a soft case.
B&H (and Adorama) is well-respected retailer and, if they did a mistake, I am sure that there will do their best to correct it.
I'm not sure if it's a mistake, but am just curious in general, what cases are offered with what lenses. It seems like a lame oversight on Pentax's part IMO.
I have a spare case, but i am wondering what other lenses do and don't come with cases. The only lens i have that did not, was the Kit lens until now.
