As an update, I got my hands in a tokina 80-200 F/2.8 results are great. I did one mistake tough. I was shooting in aperture priority with ISO 800 & f/3.5-f/4.0. Camera set the speed at 1/6000. Pictures came out overexposed, so I turned down the exposure. In the moment I didn't realize that they were overexposed because the shutter speed needed to be faster than 1/6000 for pictures to come out properly exposed, but the k-x is not any faster. So after getting back home I had my Homer D-OH!! moment and realized I shoud have just turned down the ISO instead the exposure, altough noise at ISO800 is not bad, but since I crop the pictures, sometimes its a bit noticable which I could have avoided at lower ISO. Obviously this is a learning process so next time I'll keep this in mind.
I also put the AF in AFC, I was surprised that the tokina could keep up with the cars. The lens is pretty sharp, I'm happy with it. I just got a hood for it and will be buying a good quality UV filter for it.
Thanks again for the suggestions and tips, I'm sure the Tamron or Sigma could have done the same or better, but the Tokina was cheaper so I decided to give it a shot. The only down size is that the lens is pretty heavy, but I was shooting for about 2.5 hours straight and it didn't bother me that much. I had my tripod and monopod with me but did not have to use it. Batteries did good, got close to 700 photos and the indicator only turned orange.
Some of the pictures (to me altough not perfect, they look much better than the pictures in my first post, do you agree?)
