Jack Hanna Import-Export Co [HanImEx] was rather like Vivitar and Porst and Albinar, a distributor who commissioned and rebadged products from many makers. There were probably 10 or more different models of Hanimex 135/2.8 lenses from various makers, and a few more models labeled Hanimar. Some were quite good, some weren't. The serial number on the lens you're considering might or might not reveal the maker.
I've owned three very different Hanimex/Hanimar 135's and sold two of them. All transactions were cheap -- those two I sold for around US$6 each cost me US$3, and the one I kept cost US$12. One of those I sold had decent optics, the other didn't. Neither was 'macro', with close-focus-distances of 1.6m and 1.8m, but being M42 lenses, a simple macro tube let either focus very close. The one I kept has a close-focus of 3.3m but I usually stack a reversed 35mm lens onto it for 4x magnification at two-inch focus -- it's my go-to high-magnification lens setup.
In short: If you can get one for the cost of a sandwich, why not? You won't get a stellar performer; you might get a very decent lens; you might get a dog. Just determine your own pain threshold, financially. Good luck!
