I bought mine this year for 300 from a german shop.
I think this lens is best from 0.3 to 5 meters distance.

Yes agreed, the K28/2.0 is best when the subject is less than 5 meters. I also got mine from a German camera shop, but paid around 400€.

CA is a non-issue with both lenses.

I meant how both lenses render the subject to appear? if it's flatter or 3D like or same rendering.

Given the fiddly nature of M series lenses, in general, I have no complaints from my M28/2.0, as well. I agree... If you give it the time, it's a great little lens... a gem.
