Hi, I've been trying to get stabilization working on this lens. So far, whenever I press the info button there's a cross over the hand representing stabilization. I've heard of people saying that the focal length needs to be entered or something? I've been toying with the menu and can't find that for the life of me.

I currently have my K100D set to manual with the lens set manual as well. I'm also using an M42 lens adapter I purchased at saber camera.

I'm shooting a concert tonight, so fast information would be greatly appreciated!

Turn the camera off and on while the lens is attached. You should receive a message asking for the focal length on the rear LCD. Enter 50mm.

Also, make sure you set the camera to use screw-mount lenses, in the custom menu. I can't remember exactly what it says...something about S-mount...something. I had the exact same problem at first.

hmm, just out of curiosity, I set mine up to work with the 'Using Aperture Ring: 2' but I don't have the former command (FI with S lens used). I'm using 1.30. Perhaps its removed?
