Correcting lateral chromatic aberration

I notice the K-5 has this feature in the menu, but gather it only works for certain lenses. Is this something I should use, or is there a better way? What about lens profiles in Lightroom? Do those include this correction?

It is slowing down image storage.
It works with DA and DFA lenses only (except the DA10-17).
If you are expecting CAs you can turn it on.

I find the in camera correction better than most others I have used. The CA correction in photoshop almost never works.

I learned from another user on here how to fix CA. It works amazingly but with one catch, it will de-saturate everything in the photo with the same color as the aberration. You go to Image-->Adjustment-->Hue/Saturation, "eye-drop" the CA and turn down the saturation and the CA is gone. This works great if everything else in the photo is different color. Other than that I think the in-camera is pretty good.
