You know, in the days before eBay -- if anyone can remember that far back -- people actually used to THROW OUT some stuff.
Now, we just recycle. To suckers, er I mean to economical purchasers.

Yes, just as the prior owner stepped on a land mine.

The seller apparently also offers aircraft/avionics equipment. I'd sure hope something designed to keep me from plummeting out of the sky would be in better shape than this lens!

Official description of the quality on e-Bay says:

"Used: An item that has been used previously. The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear, but is fully operational and functions as intended. This item may be a floor model or store return that has been used. See the seller’s listing for full details and description of any imperfections"

Fully operational?

"Some plastic damages"?

To quote Darryl Kerrigan "Tell him he's dreaming".

I would pass on that lens just on principal. A lens in that condition needs more than the totally inadequate description in the listing. Sellers who fail to adequately describe their product (even if it's to say that they don't know what happened to the lens) should not be patronized.

From the photos it seems that there is no way that lens will function properly on a Pentax as it doesn't appear to have a K-mount.

You might as well take $200.00 and just burn it, as you will have fewer issues than if you bought this piece of junk. Even better give the $200 to a charity, as it’s Christmas.

This lens belongs back in a garbage dump where it came from.
