You're right, I shouldn't be shooting at f/16, in general - but at the time, it was pretty much required. Honestly, it's a great lens - but even at f/6, my M50/2 is a bit sharper. Only 'need' the zoom on the boat, everything else I can carry primes. (And considering the price of the newer K primes lately, M42 may be a good option in general.)
So, I got the 35/3.5 Super Takumar, and a SMC Takumar 300/4 for $160 combined, ($30 for the 35 and $130 for the 300) now, I'm just going to twiddle my thumbs until an adapter comes in. Hehe.
