Checking out a SMC Pentax-A 1:1.7 50mm today...

I'm impressed with my 300 Soligor, it was cheap ( £30 GBP I think ? ) and in very good condition.
It's bloody heavy, but it's a nice lens to use.

There's a few shots on my Flickr pages with it.

I think I can relate to that :-) The kit lens is very decent, but it was somewhat of a revelation to zoom in to the shots with a M 50 with the kit as a reference: "Ooo ... look at all this fine detail ..."
