How about this one.

Hint: shot wide open, and lens is AF
43 ltd?

Sorry, my applogises, I copy pasted the wrong image link location for the light house, now it is the correct one.

It is not the K30 or K20 (still on my shopping list), not the K17 or K28/3.5 (great landscape lens, but not wide enough here). Not the FA20 either, though that was an alternative when I bought this lens.

It is not a Pentax, nor a Takumar.
The longer faster brother is a 30mm f1.4 which I think at least some of you have.
Now it should be easy.
no worries Doug. it was more of a wild guess on my part since you said it was slower. although I was quite uneasy with my guess since it doesn't look nor render like the 28/3.5 (pic doesn't look as contrasty and it's renders cold compared to the Pentax). maybe next time I'd look closely and go with my gut.

Next to my other 2 primes (FA43 & Fa77) it is very weak.

I think I may have a bad copy.

I was thinking the same. It is harder to make a wide angle work well at f1.8.

It's the only Sigma lens I have, so I cannot say anything about variability. Some say they have problems with that. But I was plesently surprised, only remembering the crap Sigma lenses from the 80's.
Lets see if Pentax ever makes something like a 20/2 how they compare. For sure they will build it better and most likely have better collors, but I'm not sure it will be sharper wide open. From what I see, stopped down to f2.8 it does OK against the FA20/2.8.

Sigma doesn't keep up with Pentax standards lens by lens, but they fill gaps that no one fill for us. Give them credit for that.

This swirly circle bokeh like in the pic above seems to be characteristic of the FA* lenses. I get it in FA*28-70, and used to get it in FA*80-200.

135mm, f8 or f11 in sunny day. Good CA/PF control at the edges. Could come from M135f3.5 or DA*50-135.

It's harder with shots like this as they don't really give away much about the lens characteristics.

But judging by the hint + good sharpness and lack of visible aberations, I'd guess some 100mm ish macro lens

oh yeah, that's quite true. Sorry! Will try to get one that has more character next.

It's a 135/2.5 bayonet at f/8.

NEXT! I wanna try guessing a lens!

Try this, it's a Pentax prime lens as your hint:
