Except that I don't have it, but I do have the A100/2.8, but that's not the lens this time.

Now we are getting somewhere. Two options on my list.

Nope, which leaves only one option (that I have): Super-Takumar 105mm f2.8.

Here's the optical formula of K 105 f/2.8:

In this contest, do you also have to guess the colour of the lens, silver, black, etc.?

Of course they are the same fomula, but CA was up for discussion, and they have very different coating. The daisy shot would have been quite dfifferent with the SMC Pentax 105/2.8. The BW shots would have been more tricky to tell the difference between, since I could always have tweaked the contrast in post processing (and probably did). But I thought the daisy shot was a real give-away between the non-SMC and SMC versions.

But I don't mind announcing axl as the winner.

Lemme in, lemme in!

Gents,
Since spikebebop's serving appears to be... untakeable (I see only one blurred highlight element that should hint up the bokeh rendering - but doesn't - and colors tell me that shot has been heavily post-processed) I'm making bold to jump in again.

Sorry for being offline for a while, caught a flu and have been spending days spending lots of paper... over there, you know (where some of you are keeping unused lens and old bodies). Happy Memorial Day for our amarican fellas penaxians and happy Bank Holiday for the ones from Mother Metropolis!

Ok, here are the shots:

I do know this gonna be a tough one so here go the hints: all shots were made wide-open at MFD. Non-SMC (nor even any MC), non-Pentax brand. Damn, I can even show you the lens!

Not enough? Ok, M42 pancake with a fully manual stepless aperture. Appears to render the front blur much better then the rear one.

My guess: one page off and you'll jump for another take having this one abandoned. Will be glad to be mistaken.

Good luck,
Zig

Doug,
It took you less then 3 minutes to complete the post after you saw the pictures. Tell me you've got it from the shots only and didn't cheat looking at URL!

astonished,
Zig

I wonder on the hints from the shots or description that worked for you.

No cheating. But I have the lens so it was easy to recognise. You gave too many clues...
