That bokeh reminds me of my old 50 1.7.

50/1.2. buttery bokeh is a gimme.

the 55/1.4 would show some sharp edges on the highlights.

You are all quite close but not right.

- I did own it for a while but sold it while ago

Any other guesses?

Based on the distance of the escalator to wall, looks like @f1.4 or f2.0, not at f1.2.
Wide as 50 or 55... very similar to my 50f1.4 @f1.4. At this distance I think f2.0 also produce similar bokeh.

My guess is like the others, smc 50 or 55 at f1.4 or f2.0. My best guess is K50f1.2 @f1.4 or @f2.0, since you won't shoot wide open if you don't have to ;-)

Edit:
ok. I m just a bit late for your last post..

FA35ltd. too wide for a 50.

axl,

as mentioned in that revelation post it was shot at 70mm and aperture set to f3.2

Re your last one I'd say it's a bit longer then 50mm guessed above, probably 70-85. Uh? But you said those gents were pretty close (some pentax 50mm glass) and since I don't quite like that bokeh thus I've to go with... some 50mm macro. It doesn't appear to be a posed photo so it's hardly a manual lens - it needs to be AF. FA/DFA 50/2.8 macro?

axl,
you appear to be very good at MF! So far I managed to get only posed (or static) photos if using manual focusing.

Looking forward to seeing this thread going on (I really love it, managed to pop up Ilya's reputation to thank him for this thread), but I don't have any other lens to be worth putting here on, sorry.

C'mon, readers! jump in!
