Cool. May be this is the first time I like the harsh bokeh ;-)
It looks like to come from a Cosina to me..

I wouldn't really consider that bokeh harsh! Looks really, really good. I'm gonna see if I can coax out that kinda look with the DA 15... (skeptical!)

I am working on yours ;-)
I need a flute to measure the focal length, and we don't have it, one of our neighbor has.
As for all photos, the flute is the only I can base my guess on - focal, distance, bokeh, rending...

I'll have a shot. Maybe an A, F or FA 85mm, around F2.8?

Gents,
Agreed, this was a tough one. Ok, rabbit's out:

the lens: Tokina AT-X AF270
the EU roots: Angenieux, France
the corporation: Thales
the famous and/or relatively well-known brothers and sisters: Angenieux and Tokina AT-X 28-70/2.6-2.8, Tokina AT-X 270PRO, Tokina AT-X 270SV, Tokina AT-X 280PRO

That shot was taken at 70/3.2 setting in a point-and-shoot way - to be honest I was really surprised it turned out any good at all, I had no time for scene adjustments nor any other stuff to twist and set.

Zig

P.S.
I'd say that if it were some Voigtlander the colors would be more punchy.
Hi Siegfried, I got this exact lens only this week. (as well as an FA43, it's been a good week ) I thought it would make a good alternative to my sigma 17-70 as a walk around lens. What are your thoughts about it? The info you provide is more than anything I could find about the lens. Thanks for that.

Wow, this is hardcore!

Personally there is only a few lenses who have quite special rendition which I am familiar with (like DA*55 or FA* zooms, for instance) that I think I could confidently pick.

No, but not totally wrong. There is something similar between these two lenses in the way they render, must be that ______ engineering or something...

Much much wider. But I don't blame you for not spotting it.
