As for Douglas's pic, I think the daisies look very good (the CA is not that bad for a high contrast shot). I am guessing it's one of the classic 50/1.4 or 50/1.7. Perhaps the Super-Tak 50/1.4?

sorry the pic is hardly glamorous - taken in a hurry with my wife's point-and-shoot.

I think this early model is looking better than the late

As for my pics. You are all completely off on the focal length, strange...

Some more:

I think she does best in BW, but despite her other optical shortcomings, she has got a very smooth bokeh.
