Lenses from RICOH KR-5

Hi

Will the lenses from ricoh fit my K-x.
I read its

Lens Mount: ''K" type bayonet with 65 rotating angle


Source Ricoh KR-5 manual exposure camera


Any feedback

Yes, they will fit, but you have to watch out. Some Ricoh lenses have an extra pin which gets stuck in the camera's autofocus drive shaft and prevents the lens from being removed again. Check the lens for any such additional pin. If your lenses are the first generation Ricoh lenses then there is no such pin and no problem.

You can use them in the M exposure mode only since it looks like there is no 'A' setting on the lens. You need to set the appropriate option to allow use of an aperture ring in the Custom Function menu. Just change it to permitted and leave it at that setting also when you use DA lenses.
