Just some initial test shots with my "new" but very old SMC Pentax A 1:4 70-210mm zoom which I picked up second hand in preference to the new DA 50-200. It might not be as convenient as the DA, but I'm quite pleased with it. Cost me $300AUS (I probably paid too much, but this lens is as rare as rocking horse hockey). The attached files are very low resolution.....

That is sharp with good colours. I got the F70-210 instead of the DA50-200 with no regrets.
The old lenses are getting more expensive. I got my F70-210 for NZ$ 90.00 a year ago.

I know. Mine was sold from a camera shop on consignment so I had no way of negotiating a cheaper price. It was "take it or leave it".... I wanted the Kiron or Vivitar, but they are even harder to get.
