Which lenses should I keep ?

I am selling of all my gear! So far I am keeping a 50mm 1.7 and a 28mm 2.8 and a 135mm tamron (that I think is better then the 135mm 3.8 Pentax).
But I am torn about keeping the 24mm and the 120mm. I guess with the 135mm 2.5tamron I have I can get rid of the 120mm Pentax.

I'm selling (on Ebay) a 24mm, 40mm (3) 50mm, 55mm, 135mm, 75-150mm, 100mm Macro, 200mm, 100-300mm, A Pentax LX, AFT280 Flash, AFT200, and a Macro AF080C, Bellows and slider copyer .....etc!!

Dose anybody have suggestions what I should keep ?

So the hard one for me is the 24mm which on a K10D is a 36mm. I have a sigma 10-20mm so I was thinking it kind of covers that. a 180mm Sigma macro and a 50-500mm Sigma or the Tamron 200-500mm or something like that then maybe a 14mm or 12mm 0r 15mm

Anybody have any suggestions

If you are intent to purge all your film camera equipment, sell the LX and flashes, they won't do much good with the K10D, but I would personally keep all of the lenses. They will all work with the K10,

You should play with all of them, see what they do, and only after this, decide what you want to keep.

The LX will be of interest to someone.

Hi Jacob,
Welcome to the forum. You were the topic of a thread started by Roy. Many of us questioned your sanity for selling any of those lenses. It would seem prudent to keep them all until you have a chance to check them out on your new K10D. One or more just might turn out to be your favorite lens. They certainly will not go down in value in the months to come that's for sure.

Why you are letting the 24mm and the 40mm go is beyond me. Those could be real fun on a cropped sensor. The 100 macro could be another great preformer. I am glad to see your selling the 200mm because I'll be bidding on it. I'm cutting my own throat by saying this because it will create extra interest in it. That lens is so small for a 200mm, 300mm fov on digital, you are able to hand hold it with no problem and with SR you can shoot all day at 125sec.

But you gotta do what's best for you. Regardless, let's see some photos when you get the new camera.

Regards,

Ken

If it doesn't work out, there is a fine one for sale here in the forum!
