Just bought a Kr and I'm looking for

a 2 lens setup that will get me from wide angle say 24 to 300mm,I bought it with the kit didn't want to,but B@H was out of the body only. thanks very much for any assistance.

16-45 or 17-70 or 18-135 + 55-300

How much money do you want to blow?

Big Bucks:
pentax 16-50/2.8 zoom for the wide end
pentax 60-250 for the long

Small Bucks:
tamron 16-50/2.8 for wide (or the already mentioned 16-45, 17-70)
pentax kit 55-300 (has worked quite well for me so far, I'm somewhat noobish)

There may be other lenses like the pentax 18-250 to consider as well.

By the way, you did check out the lens review section, didn't you?
