I started a great thread about posting only 50mm ƒ1.2 photos at ƒ1.2, when I bought my first Cosina ƒ1.2 55mm, and wanted to compare it against other ƒ1.2s. (I now have a K ƒ1.2, and the excellent thread photos is causing me to upgrade to the ultimate - an A ƒ1.2!)
You seem to have confused this a bit, you own the ultimate!, the A is a bit uglier.

I hope to join this thread someday (as I said a long time ago in the 1.2 thread, and look what that caused me to do...), Love it, keep it coming!

I get paid on the 30th....just a little over a week away. If I can manage to not overdraw my account till then, I will have a Rokinon 85 f/1.4 ordered next week!

Has anyone determined if there are any differences at all in the various branded 85 f/1.4's? lens coating or anything like that?

Rokinon 85mm f1.4 @ f1.4

Used a Rokinon 85mm f1.4 with a Pentax K20D. Taken when I first obtained the lens. Should have been more aware of the tree emanating from her head in the first one.

I'll just assume that f/1.5 is close enough to f/1.4...

The weather is dreadful outside and I just wanted to see my new Helios 40-2's bokeh.

That looks like a dangerous way to store a knife

I was looking for something to test center sharpness and it seemed fitting. The handle actually fit very snuggly into the umbrella holder, there wasn't much chance of it falling out.

Ha, world's sharpest umbrella.

Actually, from the perspective of the photo, and without having looked at it carefully enough(my fault), it looks like what the knife is sticking out of is part of, or attached to, the fence/railing. And I was thinking more along the lines of someone walking face-first into it, not it falling out. I guess I have a sick mind.

That said, it is a fitting subject for testing center-sharpness . And it/they are quite interesting photos in and of themselves.......

Good ideas is what you have, I think I might just leave it there for burglars to walk (/climb) into face-first.

Also: There is nothing wrong with having a sick mind, it makes the world a much funnier place...
