It's been a while since I've done an LBA post. But, this one seemed worth posting - a new to me Super-Multi-Coated Macro-Takumar 1:4/50.

Here's the lens -

and here are a couple of first shots

I think I'm going to like this lens!

Wow gorgeous photos! I like that LBA shot haha! The jewelry shots are also great but the LBA shot really gets the mystique! How did you get the background all dark?

The background is black "velvet" which absorbs the light pretty well (along with shooting at -1 EV to adjust for all that black) - then upping the contrast and shadows in ACR.

I want to pick up this lens someday, it looks awesome!
