Is this any good??

Hi all, I was looking for a 135mm 2.8 and I found that a local is selling this for 100 can. $

1: Vivitar 135mm. F2.8
2: Carl Zeiss Jena 58mm. F2.0
3:Spiratone Portragon 100mm. F4.0 ( T-Mount )


Is this a good deal??

All 3 for $100?

I would expect a 135 F2 would command a lot more all by itself.

I would even be willing to split the cost and take the CZ-Jena if it is really an F2.0. I expect it is a typo.

edit note, I misread the post, I thought they were all 135mm lenses.

the 100 package price is not too bad, the CZ-Jena is the lens the Helios 44 was patterned from, I suspect the spriatone is or could be a macro lens.

On the vivitar, check carefully the rear elements and clamping rings for them, to ensure that you wont have reflection problems

the carl zeiss jena its worth 100 usd... i ever had one ... vivitar is also not bad, if all of them 100 euro, ,..its worth it... the last once..i never heard of them ..

I see we browse the same Kijiji ads =P You wouldn't happen to be the one who snatched up the 50mm 1.2 for dirt cheap a few weeks ago, would you?

nope!! but if u want those, take'em! I will still wait a bit for a 135mm!

Yes, that's a good haul for CA$100.
Yes, the CZJ Biotar alone is worth that.

The Spiratone Portragon 100mm. F4.0 ( T-Mount ) is a strange soft focus lens.
