For all of you, I didn't bought it. What I really mean is, I wanted to, but I can't, and obviously someone's there just didn't really wanna miss this opportunity.

It is already sold in only 4 hours (now that's the reason those flickr images are deleted). The buyer is, as you all may guess, is a lens collector and also a lens dealer. Just for knowledge sake, I did called the new owner and ask him whether the lens will be for sale again. He told me that he might do that, if this lens did not deliver good results, off course photographically speaking.

So, there's hope for all of us, I guess

I've checked the exif with PhotoME, the sample pic is already edited with PS, but yes it is at wide F2.
The exif isn't going to show the actual aperture with old manual lenses, so what are you basing that on?

Damn, and I'm quite sure the buyer won't share anything coming from the lens, whatever technical info (i.e. weigh, filter size...) or picture samples, as often with collectors. I hope I will find a 100/2 one day, as it appear that they really exist

I might be wrong on this since I have no expertise on this matter, but the exif also stated that the pic was taken with Canon Rebel/350d. So it was via an adapter. Exif data must have been based from the camera.

The sample pic does look wide open, just based on the out of focus highlights. With the shape of that aperture, it wouldn't be that circular with that much outlining stopped down.

Some cameras have their adapters chipped with the focal length and maximum aperture in there.

Probably the last one of these we'll see for a while--thanks to the OP for sharing!
