Ebay sweetness!

I just won a Pentax-A 20mm f2.8!

Sweet! I've been waiting for this lens for a long time.

If any of you were bidding against me, sorry

Can't wait to get my mitts on it.

I will now offically get rid rid of the kit lens as I no longer need it.

It appears it went for $455 + shipping (not that I was watching it or anything )

I saw it and thought it was a great pickup.
Well done and congrats on the purchase.
Now let's see some results with that fine lens.

450 was my threshold.

I decided that other people might think so too, as it's a nice even number, so I upped my final bid to 455.51

Whoever my biggest competitor was, they missed it by 51 cents

I missed the 20mm on the marketplace here the other day, and i've been watching for this lens for almost a year now. Higher than I would normally pay, but that's one of my unicorn's in the stable. (77 limited, I have my eye on you!) The last three I saw on ebay were selling for 500-570$ How much did these cost when they first came out?

actually, it was this lens or upgrading from a K10D to a K7.

I think i'm better off with the K10D and this lens.

I'm very curious myself. I see lots and lots of great comments, but very few websites with good shots from it.

I'll do my best with it, i'm dying to get it on my super program with the Ilford FP4 in it

Yeah, that lens really belongs on a film body to get the full use of it.

The only reason i would pay this money for it is the film body use myself. otherwise the convenience and size of the DA21 which can be had in the same range would win me over
