A deal is a deal so i was relieved when the deal didnt go through.

Had taken it earlier to a flower show and boy was i blown away by this bokeh making machine. Even at F/11 and F/16 there was bokeh.

Its not much for sports/events but sure is great for close ups even handheld. My friend commented that at F/4 it is similar to the bokeh of his Canon 50mm at F/1.8 which is saying something already.





I am not a flower shooting person but this lens seems to have sparked my interest. is there any recommended close up filters for this lens? My main issue with this lens now is that the focusing distance is quite considerable.

I can't speak of the quality of the optics from one close-up set compared to another, but I have a set of Tiffen close-up filters I use on my FA 77 and I have no complaints. They seem to do a great job.
