Was a little breezy so not as tack-sharp as I'd have liked but nice effect, especially with the bokeh in the far distance.

Apple Bokeh with one of the most boring lenses I have. The SMC Pentax-A 28mm 1:2.8 that came up randomly yesterday.

I have an early copy of the M 28/2.8 (the late copy of the M 28/2.8 apparently is rated better and is optically the same as the A version).

My little early M 28/2.8 is anything but boring. Yes, there is not really an artistic bokehlicious aspect to it, but when doing portraits, landscapes, street/urban, architecture... uff this one does not have anything to envy from anyother lens out there.

Don't give up on it easily...

I've this lens as well, and I should really use it more... there's some nice buildings etc. which should look nice through it.
