This is actually a weed called a Scotch Thistle or Cotton Thistle.. It plagues our farming area, although I am not sure of it's distribution overseas.

One of my first tests of the Rokinon 85mm f/1.4 lens on my K-01.
Focus peaking is a must for these old eyes.


Cropped to check for sharpness.

Thanks everyone. I read lots of reviews on this lens and the reports about ca/pf wide open were putting me off but decided to take the plunge anyway. It does show pf/ca in extreme situations but so little that it can easily be dealt with in pp. My 77Ltd is a pf monster in comparison. I was quite surprised how much more contrast wide open this lens has compared to my 77Ltd.
