Couple with moderate OOF

I guess there is no bright line separating bokeh from moderate OOF. My thought is that with bokeh the background is pretty much concealed, while you can use moderate OOF to convey a scene while emphasizing the portion of greatest interest.

Soligor 45-150mm 1:3.5 C/D @150mm is pretty soft but the bokeh is smooth

Technically, I think Bokeh is supposed to have out of focus small light sources. But it certainly has become the short form for "out o focus areas."

A small slide-top box made of scraps from another project that sits on my sewing table and holds the things I need for 75% of my jobs - scissors, seam ripper, pins, small screwdriver. Makes it a lot easier than digging through all the things that almost never get used. SMC Takumar 55mm f/2.
