As winter closes in here in New England, these are a pleasant reminder of the changing of the seasons WP. The blueberries are long gone and the apple harvest is winding down but after a short nap we can begin the cycle anew.

Front bokeh. Not very exciting, I just needed a break from working on the deck / screened in porch.

The older I get, the more I understand why bears deal with winter as they do.

More blossoms and bokeh. The columbine were a problem. There was gusty wind, so the flowers would pause very briefly, then wave about wildly, or to my frustration would never quite come to standstill. So. high ISO, wide aperture and such a shallow DOF that only part of one blossom is in focus.
