Flower arrangement with bokeh

Flower arrangement from our garden. It was difficult to find an inside location to take the photo, so I brought it outside to the railing around our deck so that the entire outside could be in the bokeh.

Outstanding series!!! I really like the colors on the first one.

Thank you Taka. I think the first shot as well as the others show the Leica 90mm at its best in terms both of color fidelity and that intangible Leica fluidity of expression. These elements do not come through in every shot, but when they do the results are a found treasure.

Thanks for commenting Walt. We knew the Ginko Biloba but didn't know the other was a Sumac.

My new Super-Takumar 28mm F3.5 first version doesn't focus to infinity. To about 2 meters I guess but it does have more interesting bokeh than the second version.

Dahlia bokeh with the D.

Loving the 645D and Pentax 67 75mm f 2.8 for garden photos because it captures the delicacy of flower color gradations, and its short MFD (41cm) lets a single flower fill the frame, no cropping needed. All the photos in this series were shot wide open, and at f 2.8 this medium format lens can provide a small area in focus, and all the rest is bokeh.
