x.post. Not the best bokeh, but I think I had this stopped down a bit. K-x + Viv 55 2.8 Macro.

Yup. First one is the Helios. Some shots swirl more than others I've found. It seems to depend on focal depth mostly, and also background subject.

Talking of the Helios...here's a recent photo I'd like to share.

I think its captured virtually everything that is possible to capture with a 44-2. Internal oily lens flare, external lens flare, swirls, soft edges, pastel and watery like bokeh, post processing excess etc. etc. Its a proud moment in my efforts to test Helios bokeh to destruction!! (edit...and I love this lens)

Cross-posted... Got a chance (again..haha) to flaunt the K 50/1.2 on a photohunt 'on the street' last nite.. yes off course flashes and umbrellas everywhere.. and some just won't accept the fact that there are actually 1.2 lenses

Yeah, I find with my 44-2, backlit foliage/trees in the background are the best way to bring out that really obvious swirl.

Outrageously sharp!

I just got a Sigma 50mm f/2.8 macro, the manual focus one. And it's also crazy sharp. The color in that frog shot is awesome.
