Another projector lens acquisition; an "Anastigmat Benoist Berthiot 210mm f/4.5". Was the only French eBay bidder and got it for 14€ delivered ... first tests in an empty M42 lens body. It will focus from near macro to infinity.

An 8mm movie lens - "Chinon Reflex Zoom Lens F:1.2 8-40mm"

Franken-lensing yet again ... Got these interesting images from an Chinon 8mm movie lens after modification and much "trail & error" of removing and adding additional internal elements ... Better images later; really need to refine further this set-up. Shooting "wide open" here due to absence of an aperture ...

These are today's first tests in rather harsh sunlight using the K110D and some LR4 adjustments. Almost never thought that I could get this f1.2 8mm movie lens to produce any image at all ... J (xpost)

Merci paul ... Being not quite happy with the output, I decided to add an "ad hoc" aperture at the end of the rear element via two round plumbing washers and some wall poster sticky putty to "stop down" the lens a bit ... All guess work here, but got some different results. Here ya' go with some better later evening light and on the K-5 ... J

Super-Multi-Coated Takumar 1:2.8/120. Pic is a few years old, but the bokeh is soooo silky smooth.
